Hon. Muturi is a Kenyan lawyer, former Speaker of the National Assembly and Attorney General, bringing deep legislative leadership and legal expertise to the People’s Restorative Justice Commission’s work.

Hon. Maanzo is the Senator of Makueni County and a distinguished lawyer with years of legislative experience, committed to upholding justice, good governance, and public accountability across all his leadership roles.

Ms. Asha Bashir

Asha Bashir is the Secretary General of the People's Liberation Party, a dedicated human rights advocate, experienced mediator, and skilled legal drafter. She is widely recognized for championing equity, constitutional rights, and transparent governance in pursuit of a just and inclusive society.

Prof. Fredrick Ogola

Commissioner

Prof. Ogola is a seasoned economist and academic leader whose expertise in policy, strategy, and institutional reform drives the Commission’s commitment to integrity, sustainable solutions, and meaningful national healing processes.

Ms. Nerima Wako

Commissioner

Nerima is the Executive Director of Siasa Place, advancing youth political engagement. She is a civic-tech leader, board member, writer, and 2018 Obama Fellow, named in Business Daily’s Top 40 Under 40.

Hon. Philip Kisia

Moderator

Philip M.A. Kisia, MBS, is a reform-driven leader, former KICC CEO, and the last TC/CEO City of Nairobi, known for transformative public service, corporate leadership, and youth mentorship across Kenya’s governance and private sectors.
